Ability EVO range of fan coil units was specified for one of London’s smartest and most sustainable new office buildings - JJ Mack at 33 Charterhouse Street. The FCUs helped overcome the challenges of restricted ceiling spaces and an open to view design. Crucially, the fan coil units deliver the cooling loads required whilst helping JJ Mack to become the first commercial building in the UK to achieve a BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ rating. 

This case study highlights the integration of Ability EVO 270+ fan coil units at the prestigious 22 Bishopsgate development in London, which, at the time of completion in 2020, was the UK’s largest mechanical and electrical (M&E) project. Our fan coil units were specifically selected for their capability to deliver efficient heating and cooling throughout the variety of spaces in the multipurpose skyscraper, ensuring optimal thermal comfort for occupants while aligning with the development's commitment to sustainability. 

Our case study delves into the integration of our advanced fan coil units within the prestigious Embassy Gardens development located in London’s vibrant South Bank district. Specifically designed to cater to the heating and cooling needs of both residential and leisure spaces, our fan coil units play a pivotal role in enhancing comfort and energy efficiency throughout the expansive eight-hectare mixed-use complex.
